Nori Feargrain is a mischievous young man from the village of Riverstone, Euronia, who enjoys scamming petty criminals. However, his life changes completely when he discovers he possesses a rare form of solar magic. Orphaned by pirates and pressured by his family to live responsibly, Nori finds himself grappling with grief, resentment at the pressure of becoming an authority figure, and a lack of direction. His encounter with Amiel Na Goath, an elven leader of the Riders of Heaven, a legendary group committed to justice, draws him into a much broader world of magic, duty, and looming threats.

Initially identifying Nori as an irresponsible thief, Amiel and his group are soon drawn to the boy’s unusual powers, realizing that his solar magic holds great potential. From then on, Nori is trained by them, despite his doubts and insecurities.

Throughout their journeys, Nori and his allies face threats such as demons, rival warriors, and political figures. Their encounters with amazons, demons, and opposing knights lead Nori to confront his grief and sense of inadequacy, while the team’s loyalty and unity are increasingly tested.
